A Bismarck man accused of shocking his ex-girlfriend with a cattle prod in a dispute involving money has pleaded not guilty to felony charges.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Bismarck man accused of shocking his ex-girlfriend with a cattle prod in a dispute involving money has pleaded not guilty to felony charges.
Thirty-seven-year-old Christopher Martin is charged with aggravated assault-domestic violence as well as felony drug offenses. He also pleaded guilty earlier to misdemeanor drug offenses.
Martin is accused of going to the woman's home on April 1, claiming she had stolen $500 from him and using a 5-foot-long cattle prod to shock her, causing pain and leaving marks.
