2 Sioux Falls Firefighters Injured Battling Blaze

Two Sioux Falls firefighters are recovering from injuries they suffered while battling a fire.

 

 

 

 

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Two Sioux Falls firefighters are recovering from injuries they suffered while battling a fire.

Officials say one firefighter was affected by the heat. Officials have not said what happened to the second firefighter. Their conditions have not been released.

The blaze happened Thursday night. Battalion Chief Steve Fessler tells the Argus Leader newspaper that the fire started while people were using a grill on a deck and spread to the interior of the home.

Firefighters had the blaze under control in about an hour.
