ND Man Sentenced To 20 years For Sex Offenses

A North Dakota man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on sex offense charges.

 

 

 

 

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on sex offense charges.

Neil Houle, of Belcourt, pleaded guilty in May to attempted aggravated sexual abuse and failure to update sex offender registration.

Authorities say the 29-year-old Houle entered a Belcourt resident through a window in August 2011 and attempted to rape a juvenile, who was able to escape.

Houle had been wanted for failing to update his sex offender registration information.
