GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A federal judge has allowed an adult-themed store to stay open in East Grand Forks, Minn., while a court determines whether it will be allowed to set up permanently in a commercial zone.

U.S. District Court Judge John R. Tunheim is allowing Fantasy's to stay open while the case is pending. This is despite a claim by city officials in East Grand Forks that the store needs to move to an industrial zone because it is "adult use."

The store was opened Thursday. Fantasy's opened in East Grand Forks in May after the Grand Forks City Council restricted where sexually oriented businesses could operate.
