ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A man who police say fatally shot a person who answered his Craigslist ad is facing criminal charges in Ramsey County.
A criminal complaint filed Monday says 19-year-old Aung Thu Bo and his girlfriend met 26-year-old Steven Emmanuel Lewis in a restaurant parking lot to buy his cellphone on Friday. The complaint says Lewis got in the couple's car, held a gun to Bo's head, leaned forward to search his pockets and the gun went off. Lewis fled. The victim's girlfriend was not injured.
Relatives say Bo was a computer engineering student at Hamline University and worked two jobs to support his family.
Lewis is charged with second-degree murder and first-degree aggravated robbery.
