ND Jobless Rate Lowest In US Despite Slight Rise

North Dakota had the lowest unemployment rate in the nation in July, even as it increased slightly from the month prior.

 

 

 

 

Bismarck, N.D. (AP)  North Dakota had the lowest unemployment rate in the nation in July, even as it increased slightly from the month prior.
 
Job Service North Dakota says the state's jobless rate was 3 percent in July. That's up from 2.9 percent in June.
 
The national rate also rose a tenth of a point in July, to 8.3 percent.
 
Job Service North Dakota says the state's jobless rate was 3.6 percent in July 2011.
