The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the successful prosecution of whoever shot and wounded a bald eagle in northwest North Dakota.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the successful prosecution of whoever shot and wounded a bald eagle in northwest North Dakota.
The immature bald eagle was shot near Crosby on Oct. 11 but was not killed.
Witnesses reported the shooter or shooters were driving a white pickup.
Bald eagles are protected by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and North Dakota state law.
