FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A man accused of trying to extort $50 million from various agencies and threatening to hold tribunals for politicians told U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson that Erickson should be arrested for ruining his life.
Brian Jacobson of Battle Lake, Minnesota unleashed the tirade on Erickson Thursday in a brief hearing to update the case.
Jacobson first complained that he wasn't receiving proper liquids in jail and then blamed Erickson for his plight.
Said Jacobson, ``I want to see you in cuffs today.''
The judge responded that it wasn't likely to happen.
Jacobson is charged with two counts of transmitting threatening communications.
He allegedly demanded to be paid $50 million for an alleged contract with the city of Fargo and told three North Dakota politicians he could put them on trial.
