Three South Dakota firefighters who died on the job last year have been remembered at a national ceremony.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Three South Dakota firefighters who died on the job last year have been remembered at a national ceremony.
The annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service was held on Sunday at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Md. Eighty-five names were added to the memorial, including Trampus Haskvitz, Jacob Waldner and William Waldner.
Haskvitz died while fighting a Black Hills forest fire in August 2011. The Waldners died in an explosion in September 2011 while helping fight a coal bin fire at the Sunset Hutterite Colony.
More than 6,000 people attended Sunday's service.
