BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development agency says it provided more than $61 million for North Dakota housing projects during the past fiscal year.
The agency says funds in fiscal 2012 included loans for single-family homes and more than $3 million in rental assistance to low-income tenants.
Rural Development State Director Jasper Schneider says ``quality housing is the building block of a successful community.''
