DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - The cities of Dickinson and Minot are using a Portland, Ore., architecture firm to create master plans for their downtown areas.

Dickinson City Administrator Shawn Kessel says a healthy downtown is the core of every successful community.

V3 Studio Architecture uses computer animation and photographs to create visions of what the downtowns would look like with proposed buildings.
