An actor, a best-selling author and a former U.S. Secret Service agent have been inducted into the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) - An actor, a best-selling author and a former U.S. Secret Service agent have been inducted into the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame.
Actor Josh Duhamel, author Lauraine Snelling and former U.S. Secret Service agent Clint Hill were honored during the hall's annual awards banquet Wednesday during the Norsk Hostfest Scandinavian heritage festival in Minot.
Duhamel, one of Hollywood's leading men, was honored for the work he did following flooding in his hometown of Minot.
Snelling was honored for the dozens of books she has published, while Hill was inducted for his work serving Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Ford.
