MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A study to identify ways to improve traffic flow in Minot could get under way this fall.
The City Council has agreed to work with the state Transportation Department in developing and paying for the study.
The state will pay 80 percent of the estimated $250,000 cost.
The Mayor's Flood Recovery Committee recommended the study.
It will take up to half a year and is aimed at determining what road projects are needed in the rapidly growing city and how to fund them.
Minot was devastated by historic Souris River flooding last summer.
