A Moorhead Taxi Company Submits Fargo Application

FARGO - Yet another application for a taxi company in Fargo.


Abdoulie Barry, doing business as a Fargo-Moorhead road force already has a license to operate in Moorhead.


He now has a request pending with the city. Auditor Steve Sprague tells KFGO that Barry is looking at a hi-tech metering system not used in the F-M area.


Just last month, the city commission granted a taxi cab license to "Go Cab," a company that first began running in Moorhead.


If Barry's application is approved, there will be four cab companies in the F-M area.


A date for a public hearing on the application has not yet been scheduled.
