Three Fargo Airmen Come Home

Three members of Fargo's Air National Guard flew home last night after a six-month deployment to Afghanistan.

 

 

 

 

FARGO - Three members of Fargo's Air National Guard flew home last night after a six-month deployment to Afghanistan.

While there, they disposed of explosives in combat zones and trained others.

Master Sgt. William Kennedy was on his third deployment with the Air National Guard, after having deployed about a half-dozen other times as an active-duty soldier.

He and the others say they're happy to come home healthy and see their loved ones again.

There are about 20 other North Dakota airmen and more than 300 soldiers deployed overseas.
