Hansen Using NFL Connections In Fundraising

Former North Dakota State University Bison and Buffalo Bills football star Phil Hansen is getting financial help for his Minnesota legislative campaign from some well-known names.

 

 

 

 

Former North Dakota State University Bison and Buffalo Bills football star Phil Hansen is getting financial help for his Minnesota legislative campaign from some well-known names.

Campaign finance reports show former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife have donated $500 toward Hansen's campaign. Bills owner Ralph Wilson has given $250.

Hansen is a Republican who lives near Detroit Lakes.

He's running against Democratic Representative Kent Eken, of Twin Valley, for a new state Senate seat.
