A 17-year-old Fargo boy accused of robbing a Mapleton convenience store at gunpoint is cooperating with the investigation.

Gordy's Travel Plaza was held-up with a shotgun. Cass County State's Attorney Birch Burdick says he'll consider charging the suspect as an adult.

Sheriff Paul Laney is not releasing the amount of money the boy got away with.

He was stopped on Interstate-29 south of I-94 not long after the robbery. The shotgun was found in the backseat. Deputy Lance Kitzan spotted the car at I-94 and Sheyenne Street and called ahead to other deputies and the State Patrol.

The store clerk provided a good description of the car and provided a license plate number that was only one letter off.
