Fargo Man Charged In Kidnapping Incident
A Fargo man has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping and assault.

A Fargo man has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping and assault.
Michael Cooper, 29, is facing charges of felonious restraint and aggravated assault.
Cooper is accused of holding a woman against her will at a Fargo home on Thursday, and over the course of four hours, repeatedly chocked the woman unconscious.
Lt. Joel Vettel described the situation to KFGO News.
"They were in a vehicle at some point," said Vettel. "During that, the victim was able to get away from the suspect and ultimately call law enforcement where we encountered a Mr. Cooper and were able to make an arrest for both aggravated assault and felonious restraint."
Vettel said Cooper was drunk when he passed out in the car.
Cooper and the victim are acquaintances.
