Tax Extension Approved In Fargo

Fargo voters have passed a half-cent sales tax extension by the slimmest of margins.

FARGO, N.D. - It could not get any closer. Fargo voters have passed a half-cent sales tax extension by the slimmest of margins.


Just before midnight, Cass County Auditor Mike Montplaisir reported to KFGO News that the extension received 60.29 percent of the vote. It needed 60 percent.


The tax will be extended for another 20 years.
