Tuesday Night Fight Reported In Fargo

Fargo Police are investigating an armed melee Tuesday night that may have involved as many as 20 people and sent two men to the hospital.

Fargo Police are investigating an armed melee Tuesday night that may have involved as many as 20 people and sent two men to the hospital.

Police responded to the call at approximately 10 p.m. in the 1100 block of 22nd Street South.

Lt. Joel Vettel said most of those involved fled the scene when police arrived.

"On scene we did find items, such as a metal pipe and it appears at least several knives, that were left at the scene after the altercation," said Vettel.

Vettel said the fight may have stemmed from a confrontation between two groups earlier Tuesday in West Fargo.

Injuries to those taken to the hospital were not believed to be serious.

Police have said the men have not been cooperating with investigators.
