Members of the 119th Civil Engineer Squadron returned to Fargo on Thursday following a six month deployment to an undisclosed country in southwest Asia.
Technical Sergeant Tyler Underdahl, father of three, left when his twins were only two months old.
"Nervous to see them, excited to see everybody," said Underdahl. "With FaceTime and Skype now, they at know my voice and have seen me, so they're not crying when I picked them up. That was a good thing."
The group of 50 deployed last December on a mission that involved construction and electrical projects.
Approximately 20 North Dakota Air National Guard members still remain deployed overseas.
