FARGO - Now that Bluestem's non-profit has dissolved, taxpayers will likely be stuck with the facility's outstanding debts.
Bluestem unexpectedly announced Wednesday that it's dissolving a longtime partnership with the Fargo public schools. School board president Jim Johnson says the outstanding debt will likely be $1 million.
Johnson says the breakup is a sad ending to a wonderful partnership. Bluestem Executive Director Sue Wiger says budget issues and "cultural differences" led to the breakup.
