Fire Damages North Fargo Home

A fire heavily damaged the kitchen of a house in north Fargo just after 9 last night.

FARGO - A fire heavily damaged the kitchen of a house in north Fargo just after 9 last night.

Firefighters say there is also extensive smoke damage throughout the home, at 805 11th Avenue North.

Investigators believe the fire was caused by a toaster, sitting on the kitchen counter and spread from there.

There are no injuries, though a family cat died in the fire.
