A state senator from Grand Forks, who graduated from the University of North Dakota, says he's disappointed with the results of a state audit that questions how the money from student fees has been spent.
Democrat Mac Schneider introduced a bill to place a cap on those charges.
Schneider calls the report, disturbing.
The audit, to be reviewed by an interim legislative committee, reveals that North Dakota State University spent $11,000 on a first-class plane ticket for a trip to India for the Dean of the school's graduate school.
UND has used fee money for t-shirts and to build a $370,000 reserve at the school of business.
