More than 50 trucks were pulled off the roads during a safety violation saturation conducted by State Troopers in North Dakota oil country.
State Patrol Sgt. Mitch Rumple was part of the 12-person inspection team that found 474 violations.
Rumple says he was surprised at the number of truck drivers who didn't know they needed a higher class license.
25 trucks were overweight.
$8,000 in fines was assessed during the inspection, which took place last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
