FARGO - Early morning commuters were doing double takes wondering what Fargo police were up to.
The department's accident reconstruction experts were re-working a fatal motorcycle/semi-truck accident earlier this summer at the corner of 25th Street and 23rd Avenue South between 5 and 6 this morning.
Sargent Ryan Dorrheim says the investigation into the crash is still open.
Jason Viestenz, 29, was critically injured in the collision on June 4 and died two weeks later in a Fargo hospital.
Viestenz was attempting to pass a semi that was making a turn when his motorcycle hit the semi.
