Authorities Search a Fergus Falls Home in Connection to Murder Investigation

Sheriff’s deputies, Fergus Falls police and the Minnesota B.C.A. conducted a search warrant at a Fergus Falls home in connection with the murder investigation of Scott Burris.

 

 

 

 

Sheriff’s deputies, Fergus Falls police and the Minnesota B.C.A. conducted a search warrant at a Fergus Falls home in connection with the murder investigation of Scott Burris.

Authorities declined to say who lives at the home, but neighbors say the owner is a relative to Burris.

Investigators won't say if they recovered any evidence. No arrest has been made.

Burris disappeared May 22, and his van was found abandoned north of Elizabeth with blood in it.

His body was recovered from the Otter Tail River June 15th, near the Orwell Dam.

Authorities have not released a cause of death.
