Northwest Minnesota Wildfire Growing

There's a growing wildfire charring acres across a portion of northwestern Minnesota.

 

 

 

 

There's a growing wildfire charring acres across a portion of northwestern Minnesota. The Interagency Fire Center's Ron Stoffel says the fire is located about 25 miles southwest of Roseau, and about 90 firefighters are on the scene.

Stoffel says the peat is very combustible. Conditions in northwestern Minnesota are among the driest in the state.

No injuries have been reported but a few cabins have been evacuated over the past few days.
