VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) - The mother of a North Dakota college student who went missing on the Fourth of July says her daughter has contacted her.
The disappearance of 22-year-old Valley City State University student Amber Glatt prompted aerial searches in Barnes County over the weekend. Her mother, Amy Rines, says Glatt has had recurring amnesia since suffering a head injury two years ago.
Rines believes her daughter's disappearance was related to another bout of amnesia. She declined to say from where her daughter called.
