GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A husband and wife accused of robbing a Grand Forks bank have been ordered held without bond.
Nineteen-year-old Johnny Patrom of Springfield, Mo., and his 18-year-old wife, Amanda Patrom, are accused of holding up the Bank Forward last Friday. Authorities say Johnny Patrom also has felony warrants in Missouri but will be prosecuted in North Dakota before being sent to that state.
Court documents do not list an attorney for the couple. They are scheduled to enter pleas to a variety of felony charges on Sept. 4.
The bank is on the University of North Dakota campus. UND Police Chief Jeff Burgess told the Grand Forks Herald that he was not able to release the amount of money taken in the robbery.
