Charges Filed Against Moorhead Man Threatening To "Gut" A Woman

Charges have been filed against a Moorhead man following a domestic assault involving a knife. Prosecutors tell KFGO news Brian Liimatta pulled a woman by her hair, grabbed a knife and threatened to "gut" her.

 

 

 

 

Charges have been filed against a Moorhead man following a domestic assault involving a knife. Prosecutors tell KFGO news Brian Liimatta pulled a woman by her hair, grabbed a knife and threatened to "gut" her.

The incident happened Sunday around 9 p.m. The victim was taken to Sanford Medical Center and examined for broken facial bones.

Liimatta is charged with domestic assault, assault with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and terroristic threats. He has several prior convictions for assault, fleeing police, escape and burglary.
