North Dakota's strong economy has brought many benefits to the state but it's also brought some challenges, including a housing shortage.
North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple is bringing new proposals to the table that he says will help improve the shortage.
The first part of the plan includes an additional 12 million dollars in flex pace buy-down funds. A plan the governor says, will generate $1.25 million dollars in private housing development.
Dalrymple also plans to continue the use of the energy impact fund that helps infrastructure needs in oil development communities.
