Marnie Thielbar, of Langdon, N.D., won the inaugural Cass-Clay Creamery “Ice Cream Dream Flavor Contest.”
Thielbar's "Oil Patch Prairie Praline" ice cream edged out "buffalo chip" at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot.
Thielbar gets $1,000 and a one-year's supply of Cass-Clay ice cream. Her "Oil Patch Prairie Praline" ice cream will be included in Cass-Clay's 2013 ice cream flavor lineup.
Cass-Clay Creamery says that 140 people submitted their flavor ideas for the contest.
