A University of North Dakota student faces charges for shooting a gun on campus early Monday.
Interim UND Police Chief Jeff Burgess says 21-year-old Eybon Watkins fired several shots near a parking lot at 6th and Stanford around 2:30 a.m.
Burgess says no one was being threatened and there were no injuries.
Watkins is charged with reckless endangerment, carrying a handgun without permit, and disorderly conduct.
An arraignment date is set for Sept. 19.
