Thousands Lose Power In Fargo-West Fargo

Underground Cable Failure Blamed

 

 

 

 

FARGO - Xcel Energy says the failure of an underground cable was the likely cause of power outages that affected thousands of customers in Fargo and West Fargo Friday morning.

The problem developed around 7:15am. Everyone had electricity restored by 9:30.
