A Fargo woman led law officers on a high speed chase through Clay County early Friday morning.

A Fargo woman led law officers on a high speed chase through Clay County early Friday morning.
The chase began in Moorhead and ended near Hawley about 30 minutes later. Speeds reached 90 mph.
Lieutenant Jim Nielson said the chase ended when a state trooper used a pit maneuver to stop the car.
"There was no other vehicle traffic on the highway," said Nielson. "In the area of County Road 10, a trooper used the pit maneuver to end the pursuit and the driver was taken into custody."
Chelsea Leonard, 24, of Fargo is facing drunk driving and fleeing charges in Clay County.
Leonard may face seperate charges in Fargo after being involved in an earlier a fight. Police say she broke a window and nearly hit a police officer as she fled the scene. Fargo police did not pursue her.
