MOORHEAD, Minn. - Prosecutors and defense attorney's are recommending a 12-year prison sentence for a Moorhead man in a shooting incident last year.
Under a plea agreement, 24-year-old Geraldo Torres pleaded guilty to second degree attempted murder.
He was facing a first degree attempted murder charge for shooting at a man in the regal park mobile home park. No one was hurt, but two mobile homes and a vehicle were hit by gunfire.
In court, Torres said he was trying to scare the man who followed him home after a driving incident.
A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered by the judge.
