FARGO - It is busy times at F-M Ambulance. Crews have set records for calls for service three times this spring and summer.
F-M Ambulance executive director Sherm Syverson says the first record was 76 calls within 24 hours followed by a 75 call day and then 78. Syverson says the majority of the runs have been for psychiatric patients.
F-M Ambulance, which is owned by Sanford Health System, is forced to cover the cost of many of the mental health calls. F-M Ambulance serves for Cass and Clay Counties.
