FARGO - For the first time ever, the North Dakota Army National Guard will station a Blackhawk helicopter in Fargo.
Capt. Dan Murphy says the changes mean the National Guard will be better-equipped to respond to emergencies.
In addition to the Blackhawk, two other helicopters will be stationed in Fargo on a rotational basis. Murphy says the choppers can respond to disasters and conduct rescue missions in North Dakota, or Minnesota.
