Teen Boy Is Suspect In 2 Fargo-Area Robberies

A 17-year-old Fargo boy accused of robbing a gas station in the town of Mapleton also is one of three suspects in a holdup at a Fargo restaurant.

 

 

 

 

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A 17-year-old Fargo boy accused of robbing a gas station in the town of Mapleton also is one of three suspects in a holdup at a Fargo restaurant.

Cass County State's Attorney Birch Burdick says he hasn't made any decisions yet on possibly trying to get the boy's case transferred from juvenile court to adult court.

The boy was arrested about half an hour after the armed robbery at Gordy's Travel Plaza in Mapleton about 6 p.m. Monday.

The boy also is accused in the armed robbery of the Giant Panda restaurant last Friday, along with a 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl.
