Search Continues In Boat Hit-And-Run

Becker County Sheriff Tim Gordon says his department is pursuing all leads as they continue searching for a boat involved in a serious hit and run crash on the 4th of July.

 

 

 

 

Becker County Sheriff Tim Gordon says his department is pursuing all leads as they continue searching for a boat involved in a serious hit and run crash on the 4th of July.

Terry Erickson of West Fargo was seriously hurt. He spent more than a week in the hospital and faces months of recovery.

Gordon says they've checked out more than two-dozens boats so far. He says they have more tips to follow up on, and hopes people continue calling in to report anything that could lead them to the boat.

The Ericksons, their two children and a family friend were on Big Cormorant Lake watching fireworks when a large boat hit their boat and took off.
