Fargo police are looking into whether three Polk County, Minn. residents arrested for possession of stolen property may be connected to other thefts in the region.

Kayla and Ricki Croaker and Joshua Miller, all 20-years-old from McIntosh, Minn., were arrested for trying to sell stolen tools to a Fargo pawn shop.

Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel said those tools are believed to have been taken from construction sites around Fargo.

"We are certainly looking at the possibility that they're involved in other crimes not just within our city but also crimes outside of our city limits," said Vettel. "We work with other area law enforcement, supply those agencies with information and try to help them solve any unsolved crimes they have in relationship with these folks."

Police also arrested two Fargo men at the same store within hours of the other arrests after the pair attempted to pawn a trumpet stolen from a local music store.

Police were tipped by an employee suspicious about both transactions.

The estimated value of the stolen items is put at around $3,000.
