The National Weather Service has confirmed three weak tornadoes hit northeastern North Dakota Wednesday night.
A rope-like funnel cloud was first spotted south of Petersburg in Nelson County.
An EF-1, with 90 mph winds, briefly touched down north of Northwood, snapping trees.
Another third tornado, rated an EF-0, touched down in a shelterbelt four miles east of Kempton.
