The Cass County Canvassing Board certified election results from the June 12 primary on Monday.


According to City of Fargo Auditor Mike Montplaisir, the city sales tax extension actually gained some ground. Montplaisir said when final absentee ballots were added to the total, the measure passed by 68 votes.


The question is beyond the 60 percent supermajority threshold and therefore will not result in a recount.
