Overheated Freezer Cause of Garage Fire

An overheated freezer started a fire that destroyed a garage and all its content in Grand Forks and damaged another.

 

 

 

 

An overheated freezer started a fire that destroyed a garage and all its content in Grand Forks and damaged another.

Firefighters say the fire began due to insufficient ventilation behind the freezer.

The fire at 709 3rd street north was reported around 5:30 yesterday morning.
