A Pelican Rapids man has pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in the death of a five-month-old boy last November.

A Pelican Rapids man has pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in the death of a five-month-old boy last November.


If the plea deal is accepted, Pedro Mendoza will serve four years and nine months in prison.


Mendoza was babysitting his girlfriend's baby.


The boy had skull fractures.
