Fargo police say they had no choice but to tase a man who threatened to harm himself.

 

 

 

 

Fargo police say they had no choice but to tase a man who threatened to harm himself.

They were attempting to arrest 30-year old Roel Ramirez, junior for violating a protection order.

Lt. Joel Vettel says Ramirez first attempted to escape as police found him in the countryside trailer court. He then used a knife to cut his wrists and threatened to cut his throat.

Ramirez was taken to the hospital for treatment of cuts and then to jail.
