Fargo Newspaper Denies Same Sex Couple Marriage Announcement

Same sex couple, Allison Johnson and Kelsy Smith of Fargo, is not happy after the Forum Newspaper refused to print the couples’ upcoming marriage announcement.

 

 

 

 

FARGO - Same sex couple, Allison Johnson and Kelsy Smith of Fargo, is not happy after the Forum Newspaper refused to print the couples’ upcoming marriage announcement.

The denial has prompted a flurry of activity on Facebook.

Response has been overwhelmingly in support of the women.

The newspaper says it does not print same sex engagement or wedding announcements but the policy is under review.

The couple's $25 publication fee is being returned.
