MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man who served in the Army during World War II is being honored.

Senators John Hoeven and Kent Conrad presented Pvt. First Class Kenneth Johnson with his military decorations during a ceremony Tuesday.

Johnson's military decorations had been stored in his parents' home in Sanish, N.D., but were misplaced following their deaths.

Hoeven and Conrad helped Johnson get duplicates of the medals.

Johnson served in the Army from 1942 until 1945.
