BURLINGTON, N.D. (AP) - Officials say two housing projects that could quadruple the population of Burlington are slated for construction this year.
Burlington annexed more than 700 acres of land southeast of the town last week for the separate developments.
City officials and developers say some homes could be completed next spring.
The two developments combined have the potential to add 5,000 residents to Burlington's population of 1,100.
Mayor Jerome Gruenberg says the proposed growth is a positive development.
